The composition of the Attestation Commission of the individuals who are seeking to acquire the right to carry out a check

of the readiness of the individuals to foster (take care for) or adopt a child

1. Daina Urbonaitienė (the Chairman of the Commission), the Chief Advisor for Cooperation and Municipal Affairs Issues of the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania;

2. Agnė Marčiukaitienė, the Head of the Adoption and Custody Division of the State Child Rights Protection and Adoption Service under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour;

3. Rūta Pabedinskienė, the Advisor of the Adoption and Custody Division of the State Child Rights Protection and Adoption Service under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour;

4. Andrius Atas, the Psychologist of Public Institution SOTAS (Social Service Volunteers) who has obtained a qualification of the preparing individuals certificated by the Service;

5. Zigmas Giedrimas, the Director of Public Institution “Pagalbos paaugliams iniciatyva“ (Initiative of the Help for the adolescents) who has obtained a qualification of the preparing individuals certificated by the Service;

6. Laima Nausėdaitė, the social worker, consultant, mediator and supervisor of Public Institution Children Support Centre who has obtained a qualification of the preparing individuals certificated by the Service;

7. Diana Deveikienė, the Director of Utena Family and Child Welfare Center who has obtained a qualification of the preparing individuals certificated by the Service;

8. Evelina Keturakytė (the Secretary of the Commission's meetings who does not have a voting right), the Chief Specialist of the Adoption and Custody Division of the State Child Rights Protection and Adoption Service under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour.

The Commission was formed by the Order No BV-115 of the Director of the State Child Rights Protection and Adoption Service under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of 19 July 2018  in accordance with clauses 8-9 of the Description of the Procedure of the attestation of the individuals who are seeking to acquire the right to carry out a check of the readiness of the individuals to foster (take care for) or adopt a child approved by the Order No BV-5 of the Director of the State Child Rights Protection and Adoption Service under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of 18 January 2017 “Regarding the amendment of the Order BV-98 of the Director of the State Child Rights Protection and Adoption Service under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of 19 December 2016 “Regarding the amendment of the Order No BV-30 of the Director of the State Child Rights Protection and Adoption Service under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of 5 June 2013 “Regarding the approval of the Description of the Procedure of the attestation of the individuals who are seeking to acquire the right to carry out a check of the readiness of the individuals to foster (take care for) or adopt a child. 

The composition of the Commission of the State Child Rights Protection and Adoption Service under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of the selection of adoptive parents for a child available for adoption and the selection of adoptive parents for temporary custody of a child who was found approved by the Order No BV-32 of the Director of 3 April 2018.

1.1. Giedrė Mikalauskienė, the Chief Specialist (the Chairman of the Commission) of the Adoption and Custody Division of the State Child Rights Protection and Adoption Service under the Ministry of Social Security and Labour (hereinafter referred to as the Service);

1.2. Eglė Vainoraitė – Rauktienė, the Chief Specialist (the Deputy Chairman of the Commission) of the Adoption and Custody Division of the Service;

1.3. Evelina Keturakytė, the Chief Specialist of the Adoption and Custody Division of the Service;

1.4. Agnė Marčiukaitienė, the Head of the Adoption and Custody Division of the Service;

1.5. Jurgita Jankūnaitė, the Chief Specialist of the Child and Family Assistance Division of the Service;

1.6. Gintarė Latakė, the Chief Specialists of the Legal Aid and International Cooperation Division of the Service;

1.7. Toma Jonavičiūtė (the Secretary of the Commission's meetings who does not have a voting right), the Chief Specialist of the Adoption and Custody Division of the Service;

1.8. Jurgita Juodytė (the Secretary of the Commission's meetings who does not have a voting right), the Chief Specialist of the Adoption and Custody Division of the Service.

The Commission was formed in accordance with clauses 35 and 45 of the Description of the Procedure of the adoption record-keeping in the Republic of Lithuania approved by the Resolution No 1422 of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania of 10 September 2002, clauses 11 and 12 of the Description of the Pre-trial procedure of the adoption of the children with special needs who are available for adoption approved by the Order No A1-32 of the Minister of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania of 1 February 2007, and clause 10 of the Recommendations of the Inter-institutional cooperation in the case where a child was found in health care institution or in the institution that has “a safe haven” approved by the Order No A1-286 of the Minister of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania of 17 June 2011.
